Cosmetics

The cosmetics market accounts for about 43 % of overall European tube deliveries.

The share of this market segment has constantly increased in Europe over the last few years because of the hair dye boom and – in general - due to rising European consumer incomes spurring demand for cosmetics products. With increasing incomes in Eastern European and some of the major Asian and South American countries prospects are rather good for this market segment.

According to the properties of the fillings cosmetics are packed in plastic, aluminium or laminate tubes.

The most important applications are:

  • Hair care products
  • Hair dye products
  • Skin care products
  • Shaving creams
